About Me

Living in the fast-paced, high pressure environment that is New York, it can be difficult to find your center. As a former dancer and fitness professional, I understand the pressures of constantly needing to perform, compete, and chase the next milestone. My practice is dedicated to helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unfulfilled by these demands. Through a combination of psychodynamic and behavioral techniques, I work with clients to uncover the deeper influences shaping their experiences and to build practical skills for lasting change. My approach is compassionate, results-focused, and tailored to empower you to take control of your life, improve your well-being, and achieve a more fulfilling, balanced future. Personally, I prefer to work at 9 pm versus 9 am. For those with demanding schedules, I offer later evening sessions at 8 pm and 9 pm, making it easier to find a time that works for you.

How I Work

Many New Yorkers find themselves moving through life on autopilot, driven by patterns and narratives they’ve never paused to examine. I believe that when unconscious influences remain unaddressed, they can subtly control our lives. In our work together, we will engage in a thoughtful and detailed inquiry to uncover these underlying narratives. By slowing down and carefully exploring the meaning behind your words and experiences, we can identify the ingrained patterns of thinking that may be guiding your actions. This process of excavation allows us to determine what serves you and what can be left behind, ultimately leading to greater satisfaction and vitality. This journey of self-discovery is not always heavy — it can be an exhilarating and empowering experience that brings new excitement and fulfillment into your life.

Education and Training

I have a BA in Sociology from Columbia University and an MSW from NYU. I am a licensed therapist and currently a psychoanalytic candidate at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. My background also includes studying Dance and graduating from University of the Arts in Philadelphia PA., my hometown.
