FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

We are not in-network with any insurance providers. We do provide patients with statements suitable for submission to insurance companies for out-of-network reimbursement.

What are your fees/what do you cost?

Fees are generally set in consultation between the patient and the clinician, and each clinician sets their own fees. Several of our clinicians see patients on a sliding-scale basis, and will work with you to find a fee that can work for you. In the event we can’t agree on a fee, we will try to find you a therapist who can work within your budget.

Do you provide psychiatric support or have psychiatrists on staff?

No. We do not have any psychiatrists on staff. If a patient needs to see a psychiatrist, we generally will refer to someone with whom we have a working relationship.

Do you see patients in person? Do you provide virtual sessions?

Some of us are exclusively in-person; some, exclusively online; most do some combination. We encourage you to discuss your desires and concerns in our initial intake consultation.

Can I request an intake with a specific therapist?

You are welcome to contact clinicians directly, using the contact information on this page. The initial consultation at no charge, however, does not permit you to specify the clinician with whom you meet.

What forms of payment do you accept?

In general, our patients pay us using checks or Zelle. If there is a reason you can’t use one or the other of those methods, we are happy to work with you to come up with a solution that works, including HSAs or FSAs.
