Union Square Psychotherapy is an incubator for therapists looking to establish their own private practices, either independently or within our group. We provide unusually competitive pay, and high-quality psychoanalytically oriented supervision.

Here’s what you’ll be doing
You’ll build your own private practice within our supportive incubator. We’ll provide you with the tools, supervision, and environment to thrive, while you focus on developing your clinical skills and business acumen.
- Provide psychodynamically-oriented therapy to your own patients under high-quality, psychoanalytically oriented supervision
- Collaborate with a community of like-minded professionals committed to mutual growth and learning
- Develop your unique therapeutic style and build a sustainable private practice
- Contribute to our inclusive, supportive environment that celebrates diversity in all its forms
You need these qualifications
- You hold an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT license, or a limited permit
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about building your own practice
- You thrive in a self-directed environment and are eager to learn the business aspects of private practice
- You’re passionate about psychodynamic and analytic approaches to therapy
- You’re committed to your own personal therapy and ongoing self-examination
It would be nice if
- You have experience providing psychotherapy in a group practice or clinic setting
- You identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and/or non-binary
- You can provide therapy in languages other than English
- You’re currently in psychoanalytic training or considering it for the future
