About Me

Therapy can be a place to build a bridge between the internal and external, a place that gives the unspeakable a voice. Like many drawn to this work, my own journey through healing is what led me here. I understand the ripples that surface when life delivers the unexpected: How they may thrust us into hypervigilance, sink us into grief, isolate us from our relationships and even ourselves. I’m interested in your experience and ready to hold it with you when you are ready to share. Given my background, I frequently work with artists, empaths, and individuals living with invisible disability and/or chronic pain.

Education and Training

I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Drew University. Before transitioning into psychotherapy, I spent six years working in creative arts and human relations: What drew me to both spaces was the power of interpersonal connection. This led me to spend five years working with an occupational therapist providing sensory movement integration for children and adults with disabilities. I also trained under the mentorship of a yoga therapist in New Mexico, which deepened my understanding of the synergistic relationship between mind and body. I have completed Reiki Level I and Level II certifications, and I continue to seek spheres that open us up to what is not seen, yet deeply felt. Currently, I am training in Reiki and Psychotherapy integration and curious about how we may incorporate energy in service of your healing process.

How I Work

I have a warm and collaborative style, which lends itself to narrative play, as well as intuitive investigation of nonverbal realms. I view our relationship as the vehicle for healing and our work as a co-constructed process rooted in genuine connection. I believe the changes incited by therapy not only impact the individuals in the counseling room, but extend to a broader, collective healing shared with our loved ones, communities, and our world.
