About Me

My name is Maurice Nicoleau. With every patient, I try my best to be fully present (in the moment) both mentally and emotionally, to best listen to, and absorb each patient’s deepest most authentic expressions of themselves.
How I Work
My intention is to then use this information collaboratively, to help patients free themselves from patterns of being and thinking, that keep them from being healthier versions of themselves. In short, I help people liberate themselves. I specialize in helping people who feel dissatisfaction with their current way of living, and are motivated to begin the process of introspection, to improve their quality of living.
Education and Training
I graduated from New York University with a Master of Social Work. I am currently an advanced candidate at the Derner Institute of Adelphi University, for psychoanalysis and
psychotherapy.
